Those who rave about these burgers need to get out more, the burgers tonight were under cooked and we rang and took back and the owner said to him they were “spot on”, l explained that all people have different tastes and l like my burgers cooked through. Got a replacement burger was told it was cooking since we called (10min+) “so should be good”- guess what?? slightly better cooked but still slightly rare but burnt on base and bun burnt top and bottom, obviously the owner/cook can’t handle criticism. On upside grandson enjoyed kids chicken schnitzel roll and milkshake and Harvey(dog) enjoyed second burger. We won’t be back much to Harvey’s disgust.

Second time going to the Island Burger Bar and luckily it wasn’t as busy as when we went on Cup weekend. The owner is very dedicated and does a great job managing customers and taking orders, plus cooking and serving food as well.
