I recently visited Hyde Perth Kitchen and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the service. Despite only ordering a burger and chips, I had to wait for 40 minutes before my order arrived. It was clear that they were understaffed and could have benefited from having more employees to help with the service.

was pretty dissapointing. Nice looking restaurant but the lounge seating was very dirty and obviously had not been cleaned in a long time. Minimal options on the menu. Lack of customer service,no one to seat you or give you menus ect. Clearly very understaffed

We went to Hyde Kitchen and cocktails for my husbands birthday. We rocked up a little later than our booking (15mins later) the place was packed and I was so worried we wouldn’t have our table, but the hostess took us to a really nice table and we were attended to by a very friendly waitress who helped me pick a yummy cocktail and our drinks were delivered almost right away. We thought the food would be in small quantities but we were surprised at the sheer size of our mains when they arrived. We had to ask for a takeaway container for the pita breads as was no way we could have finished them. The staff were busy but would still take our drinks order and we were always served really quickly. It was packed and we really appreciated that they made our night special. Thank you guys! A huge thumbs up for kitchen and wait staff! Beautiful venue. Would go back for sure.

If you’re looking for great service DO NOT GO HERE but if you like hearing “sorry about that “ this is your joint !Service is basically non existent. When we were seated we got offered water and then that’s where the service ended. We had to hail wait staff down to order drinks…. then 20 minutes later we hailed another wait staff down to order food and asked where our drinks were. They had forgot the drinks another 10 minutes later they come out but have forgotten 1 of them and had to make the missing one.Did the bottomless fries which is just a small curry dish the size of your fist and when you’re sharing between a few people it goes quite fast so you’re constantly hailing down wait staff to get another. Not once was did waitstaff come over and ask if we would like a top up. We were also not asked once if we wanted another drink and had to again hail down staff for just table water to be topped up. I could understand if it was packed and the staff were rushed of there feet but it wasn’t. Don’t waste your money or your time here.

I’ve been to Hyde twice now, if you’re looking for a relaxing enjoyable venue with a calming Vibe, Hyde will definitely offer this. We were served by Ellie who made our experience even more pleasurable. The food and drink selection is great and who wouldn’t love bottomless fries! As an added bonus, if it’s a hot, don’t forget your swimmers!
