Passing through Clare and I was a bit peckish for brunch. Stumbled across Ho Nai and did not regret it! Friendly service, fresh ingredients, tasty banh mi and the baguette was super light, crispy and with a cloud like centre – too yum

1pm – we went a Vietnamese roll. We got the very last of the Roast Pork. The roll itself was pretty average the toppings were okay. It certainly wasn’t bad, but there was room to improve.

Rice noodle bowl with crackling pork was very fresh and tasty. My friend had the fried rice with tofu – not really what she expected, more like cooked rice with deep fried tofu. Popular lunch location.

First time trying the food. It was very nice & tasty. Friendly staff. Being popular & freshly cooked, by 1pm they’d run out of pork & noodles recommend if in Clare SA

I recently had the banh mi. It’s not authentic. No banh mi in Vietnam is ever served with (actually, drowned in) mayonnaise. And where are the pickled vegetables? Shredded raw carrot and giant wedges of cucumber don’t cut it. Also, the baguette is not made from rice flour, so it’s not the same as one would get on the streets in Vietnam. For $9, I expected a lot better and authenticity.

Very good food, but wife and I were disappointed that all cutlery and ‘crockery’ was throwaway plastic. Not environmentally friendly or responsible.
