Went to the Blacktown store in the main food court. Ordered the traditional beef noodle soup, never tried before I really liked it. Subtle flavour and very filling. Added a little Chili oil and vinegar to top it off. Pity that you have to find a table in the food court.

I am a huge fan and I have to say this is ons of the best lan Zhou beef noodles I have ever had. i know some might expect more beef or meat for the price they pay, but the traditional Lanzhou noodle is always like this as far as I recall. haha beef was more like a decoration, if u love beef just order one more bbq skewer

Noodles are freshly made and chewy and you can choose the thickness and width of the noodles. I have had the red braised beef noodle soup and the spicy (mala) beef noodle soup. The broth is nice but on the salty side, and the spicy option is not really spicy. The difference is they give you a scoop of a savoury and mildly spicy meat sauce on top of the noodles. Another star off because each item on the menu is priced higher than other 1919 Lanzhou Noodle stores (for example, the noodle are priced $2 more) and they surcharge if you pay by card. Service is slow so don’t go there if you’re in a rush, expect to wait about 20 minutes after you order.

Noodles were delicious, portion sizes were massive, decent amount of meat and the broth was very flavourful would come back. Food came out very quick, fresh and hot.

had really high hopes after i had visited the parramatta franchise, but the soup here was thin, watery and flavourless. the meat was over cooked and chewy. maybe because i came towards the lunch rush, they had to water down the soup, but truely just tasted like hot water with chilli oil. would not eat here again.

In consideration of quality, price was not the best. Braised?? beef noodle soup. The soup had an average beef thin flavour that was strongly shadowed by coriander, the noodles were good, small beef portion that was also quite dry in texture. Overall, This is store is alright but the price in my opinion is not up to par with the price and media influence. Good noodles and good food can be eaten at good-luck plaza, mt druitt. Prices are fabulous for the amount and quality you’ll be getting. This store is not bad.

First off, very good service and love that they serve their dishes in proper bowls even though it’s a food court. The portion sizes are generous and bigger than other Lanzhou beef noodle places I’ve been to. Flavours are good and the noodles are nice. One downside is that they don’t have as many side dishes as your typical Lanzhou beef noodle restaurant, but can be forgiven as they are just in a food court. Disappointed with the xiaolong bao, which wasn’t soupy inside. Will still be back for the noodles. Glad to see this has opened up here.
