The hot pot is nothing special. Only the price & payment method is very special: dipping sauces of various types are placed on the table for guests to choose freely; but will charge 3 aud per cup of dipping sauce! Guests who like to use a variety of dipping sauces should pay attention to this information. At noon, the restaurant was very empty.

We spent $120 just to get food poisoning from eating here. We noticed that the meat was off as it had a weird smell to it. Broth tasted weird too. Menu is way overpriced for what you get. Literally only good for the photos. Wont be coming back

The BEST tomato soup, lots of meat and veggies in any order so don’t order much.

The quality of food is pretty good, 1m lamp roll on chop board was quite impressive and really fresh. I guess we ordered too much but still it is quite pricy for 2 people. It was not dinner time so the service was pretty good and prompt. I would recommend this place a group of people and try to avoid the peak time.

As foodie who tried hot pot in Chongqing, I can guarantee you this place is below average. However, the taste is still a bit nicer than most other hot pot place in Sydney.

Always go to this place whenever I want to have Chinese hotpot. You can literally smell the aroma of the broth from the entrance and their dipping sauces are really tasty with fresh ingredients. The wagyu meat combo is definitely a good pick and also they have many different types of noodles, veggies dishes which help to balance your appetite.

Great Dragon has to be one of my favourite hotpots in Sydney/CBD. It’s decorated traditionally, always busy and packed during dinner times, so get in early! The broth is flavourful (especially the tomato option) and even the lowest level of spicy broth is fire – definitely not for those that don’t eat spicy food. The range of dishes and sauces are pretty standard (in a good way), all the classics are there. The meat barbie was definitely a differentiation point compared to other hotpots nearby. Overall the price was a bit expensive but no indifferent to other hotpot places.

We received very nice service. Sauce bar was filled with various choices, allowing everyone with a different taste of sauce to indulge in saucing! Their wagyu beef melted in my mouth. Soup base was very delicious. The barbie beef was an interesting way to place beef. The 1meter lamb was yet again amazing. I even tried brains!

Great hot pot restaurant; go with three flavour soup. Lots of selection for sauces and condiments; the beef tongue, tripe, and wagyu beef is awesome. try the barbie beef if you want even better beef slices. Downside is be prepared about 30 minutes wait or longer.
