The place was nice and clean. The atmosphere is pretty cute. The service is pretty good. I purchased a Groupon $59 for two. It came with noodles, beef balls, beef slice, fish slice and special beef slice. I could pick two soup base I picked mushroom soup and hot and spicy soup. The flavour was pretty nice. I can design my own sauces as well. I wish the deal came with just a little bit of veggies otherwise this meal is perfectly. The restroom wasn’t that clean. It’s doesn’t seem to children friendly the kids have to be at least 6 and older. The restaurant isn’t bad. One more thing the deal came with ice cream as well which made me happy.

My experience was a Groupon that was available to get hotpot for 4 people. We paid $25.00 a head for the meal.

A nice place for hotpot in the middle of Chinatown. Service was friendly and fast. The food was generous size compared to Haidilao. They also beautifully presented. The noodle was silky smooth. We had pork broth and mushroom broth in separate pot. They were flavoursome. Beware that the fresh chilli was very spicy but that was what supposed to! We were very happy with overall food, ambiance and price. Would be back sometimes.

Went on a lunch groupon deal. For the price we paid it was great. Portion side is on the generous. We went during a weekday and it was quiet which worked in our favour.

The place is not easy to find from Chinatown, the entrance is near the gotcha bubble tea shop , the place is very clean, but not many people are eating dinner maybe due to the Christmas holiday, the food is well presented. We came to try the set meal that we found from Groupon for 2people/4people set meals. The dipping sauces are very fresh.

Tucked away in a shopping complex at the end of Sydney’s Chinatown, No.1 Dixon Street, you’ll find (or rather won’t find), Da Long Yi Hotpot. At street level, it’s a staircase in a bubble tea shop !!…….venture up, and you’ll be surprised at the well-appointed spacious dining area. Service was brisk and friendly. A large menu with specialty (nee odd) items. We opted for the set menu, which included Waygu Beef, skirt steak, beef balls, fish tofu, pork dumplings, fish fillets, an array of vegetables, handmade noodles, and much more. We chose two broths, a mushroom, and an ox tail / tomato…both were excellent, as they simmered away at our table, in a magnificent stainless cauldron adorned with two dragon heads. At the side of the dining room, there was a large serve-yourself condiments table, with many toppings, chopped garlic, shallots, coriander, chilli, sesame paste, chili oils, mushroom chutney, and so much more. I enjoyed dipping my lightly cooked meats into these, and savouring the flavours. The meats were presented on large platters of crushed ice. Absolutely impressive, as it filled our table with colour and textures.

The food here is really fresh and delicious. Broth options are good and really tasty. I would say the only down side the beef and pork slices are not the best taste. The prawn paste/ mince is a must really delicious. The sauces station is clean presentae and delicious.

It was our first time to try hotpot and we are immediately hooked! The owners are friendly and hardworking. The place was not crowded when we visited. Will visit again some other time.

We randomly stumbled across this restaurant while walking around China Town to look for a hotpot place to randomly walk in. The broth were nice, not bad! They have a huge selection of ingredients for you to create your own sauce. The only downside is that the some of the workers here do not speak english or understand english, so it was quite hard for us to order or ask for help, but the waitress who were serving us was very friendly and helpful! We will be coming back again!!
