Beautiful ramen with unique flavour combinations and great umami. Having been to Japan 9 times this past decade, I can say this is a great eatery. The umeshu (plum wine) was refreshing and was a great apperitif, they had Sapporo on tap and a decent selection of drinks. I loved my white sesame tonkotsu ramen (I added memma (bamboo shoots), and the prawn and pork ramen was very unique too. You can taste the freshness of the vegetables and the home style cooking.

We went out for dinner on a Friday night with no booking. Got a table for two immediately. We got six dishes and all were amazing. Absolutely delicious and awesome experience. Still at the table awaiting dessert whilst writing this review. Will definitely be back again. Thank you for an excellent night that far exceeded expectations.

Went there for my Filipino friend’s birthday on a Thursday night (she loves Japanese food) at about 6.30pm without booking as the reviews here seem to suggest that no booking was required just walk in. We both were turned away even with 4-5 empty tables because it was fully booked (the waitress seems polite though, when she told us about the reservation). May need to consider booking a table for special events. We ended up in a Korean restaurant nearby.

I had a fantastic dinner. The chicken ramen was very tasty and delicious and the prawn ramen pork very rich flavour. The staff very friendly. Service quick. The atmosphere of the restaurant is OK, you can have dinner inside or outside. I update the menu pictures, they have variety menu for vegetarian, gluten free or kids.

Great Tonkotsu Ramen in Cairns. We’ve tried a few Ramen places in Cairns, and the Tonkotsu stock is still best at this restaurant. Yum. The pork has the flamed grilled “Aburi” taste that makes it all the more tastier.

Really enjoyed this restaurant Japanese owned. Loved my spicy deluxe ramen and salmon rice bowl very good. Excellent staff and in a nice location. Food was promptly made and we didn’t wait long maybe 5-10 mins from ordering and the food was on the table. Also good range of reasonably priced drinks. Salmon was fresh and delicious. And ramen was perfect proportion. Restaurant set in gorgeous small mall with lovely colonial style buildings on a more quiet street. I noticed locals seemed to be enjoying this shop as well as tourist.
