I was really looking forward to having lunch here since the reviews were really good. Tried it today and while the interior of the restaurant was beautiful, only 2 tables were occupied for a Friday lunch, it lacked atmosphere. I had the tooth fish starter, followed by lobster risotto and duck for main. My favourite was the lobster risotto and the tooth fish starter. The duck may have been better without the sauce. The waitress did not ask if I wanted the sauce poured all over, she just did, it ruined the dish for me. I did not like the way the vegetables were presented, they looked dull. I asked for a mock-tail without sugar and it came out too sweet still. Overall, it did not live up to my expectations. I was disappointed with my main, my drink and how lack of atmosphere it was.

Classic Italian fine dining restaurant. Great food served by experience staff. We enjoyed a memorable “Grand Tour” tasting menu. Really appreciate the flexibility to change some course to meet dietary/food preferences. The chocolate souffle and vegetarian gnocchi were sensational! Thank you Florentino team for looking after us well – would definitely recommend this restaurant for a special celebratory meal.

We had previously had an excellent dining experience in 2022. Unfortunately, the menu, flavour and style of the food has significantly reduced in creativity and quality since then. We tried some new dishes and they were okay. Not something we expect for the price. The menu was overly complicated and, once decoded, somewhat underwhelming. We also tried some of our favourites from the previous occasion and were disappointed. They were not of the same quality and vibrancy as last time. We won’t be returning. Overall, it was only an average experience with a price tag that really demands a wonderful, dynamic and enjoyable experience.

This is a popular Italian restaurant that we tried on a Friday night. We had the cod croquettes that were very delicious and a must order. We weren’t sure what pasta to try so we tried the pumpkin tortellini which we were disappointed by. The pasta itself was hard and not soft like we were expecting. The flavour of the sauce was also not to my liking. We also ordered a side of bread that took a while to come and was a bit tough to eat.

Food was above average but for the price point I feel it could have been better. Also had steak for the main course, but felt the steak knife was a bit small… almost resembling a sharper dessert knife. The Sommelier was fantastic, extremely friendly and recommended some really lovely wine to pair with our dinner…. But I have to say I was a bit disappointed by overall experience
