Food was great and good value hence any stars. Truly not my best encounter as the place had “staffing issues” I was told. There was adequate staff for turnover with some seemingly unoccupied, so I think it’s just bad management and there was no need for us to wait 45 minutes with few customers in the shop. They will make it right but at the moment I think they will stuff up your order.

Passing by Gympie, and happen to stop by Beacon Restaurant to grab a meal – honest speaking from all the “Fish & Chip” meal i had in the city this was definitely the best ones I’ve had with extra crispy batter requested – im am honoured – thanks to Carol and Pita for making my day wonderful.

Very disappointed with our takeaway. Fish pieces smaller than a chicken nugget. 5 for $6. Potato Scollops the same. Small as. Took forever to cook. Waited ages. Happy to support small business but all very disappointing.

We ordered some last minute catering to collect and take on for a wake, the team could not have been more helpful and accommodating even when we had to change on the fly to finger food. The platters were full and beautiful presented with a great variety. The staff hand selected all the options for us and we couldn’t have been more grateful for their assistance. We look forward to supporting this wonderful spot further when we move local!

My daughter enjoyed her meal of salmon patties and chips but king prawns that I had u needed an eye glass to c the tiny little prawns. They were not king prawns and the rice was gluggy. I feel that more supervision is needed before the meals go out to the Customers.
