Found this place on google maps, saw good reviews and decided to try. The shop itself looks very nice and oh my god, this fish looks soooo fresh. I’ve never seen something like this before. Huge scallops, beautiful pieces of salmon and giant prawns. If I lived in Rose bay, this would be my go to shop.

After scouring the area, this was undoubtedly the most appealing fish and chip establishment on offer. Instantly upon entering the venue we knew we were destined for an authentic fish and chip experience as we were warmly welcomed in. It did not disappoint. We ordered two fish and chip meals for two people and it was perfect. The sizing was great and the fish had thin crispy batter. Enjoyed on rose bay beach accompanied by the sunset was a delightful experience.

Fish at the Bay not only had the best fish & chips I’ve (along with two others) have had in Sydney, but there service was very friendly! Everyone’s meal was a 5/5 – from the crispy chips to the fresh fish and generous portion sizes, our meals couldn’t be faulted. We will definitely be back!

After a rocky start the other week (only due to a website linked menu glitch and outdated prices) I have ordered twice from this business and extremely satisfied with the service, value and quality of the food produced. An absolutely wonderful place. You go in there and you’re greeted by the owner. Chips are cooked to order and are fresh, some of the best chips I’ve tasted in Sydney. Proper family establishment. The cherry on top, we got a free potato scallop.

Outstanding fresh fish market with a fish-n-chip counter hidden at the back of the shop. Given the lines at it’s more famous neighbour I’m not sure I want to let the secret out, but if you want friendlier service, better value and awesome quality, Fish at the Bay is the place.
