Great value fish and chips and I’d probably say they are some of the best chips around. We love popping in, grabbing some fish and chips to share and taking them elsewhere for a picnic (especially down to the point). We will make sure to keep coming back when ever we feel like fish and chips! Staff are always very friendly too which is a great added bonus!

Always freshly made, and the portions are generous! Recommend their monthly special (I’m pretty sure this never changes, regardless of the month!) which includes two burgers, two fish, large chips for $35. Only a small seating area, but just get takeaway and take it down to the point.

First impression wasn’t the best of the store then I really did get a shock when they only accepted cash payments! No eftpos in stores is rare nowadays! Food was fine and rather generous portions.

Truly disappointing. Wanted to get an afternoon snack so decided to just get some hot chips. We found this place and saw the good reviews. The hot chips were truly inedible. Soggy, wet and oily are the only words that can be used to describe them. Travel cannot be blamed for this as we picked them up straight away and travelled 2 minutes down the road to the esplanade. The flavour of them was horrible as well, they tasted like old, dirty oil. Barely any salt on the chips as well, despite asking for extra. We ate about 5 chips before having to just throw them away. We did take a photo of them in which you can see they do not look good at all however can’t seem to upload it to the review. Not sure what happened as the place has great reviews, however our experience was the complete opposite and we will unfortunately not be coming back.

This is amazing place to go for your fish and chips meals… plus burgers, hot box food also. Very friendly staff and best thing, the potato scallops were hand made. My nephew was excited as they gave him a cup of gravy too. Plus they have chess tables set up. So even more inviting. They only down side is you have to pay cash. Card is not accepted. Atm close by though.
