This restaurant is very much a hidden gemstone, doesn’t look like much at first but the food is banging. Especially the bamya which is a slow cooked lamb with okra in tomato sauce. The fried cauliflower with the puffy bread is ingenious because you can break it in half and stuff the cauliflower in it. My partner highly rated the spinach soup + rice, I would highly recommend it as a winter dish as it is warming and full of spinach and garlic. The tea we had was a clove infused black tea was delicious, excellent as a palate cleanser. In addition, the customer service was exceptional! Would strongly recommend if you have never had Egyptian food before.

There’s a big difference between those who cook and those who pour their heart and soul into their food. So good to have Egyptian cuisine in Adelaide. Charcoal meat was really good and spiced rice. I love the atmosphere of the place and having a dine in experience. Enjoyed imported Arabic soft drinks with our meals too. Definitely be back again!!

The food was great, the service was relatively quick. The portions are pretty reasonable and can be shared too. It’s a busy little place with lots of takeaway customers. The only gripe we had is about the cutlery used. Two plates on which we were served food had chips on it. I saw another plate on another table which had chips too. They should really invest in some new plates!!
