I’ve been buying pizza from Avanti Pizza for about 19 years now. They’ve always been great, and my family and kids have always enjoyed their pizza. However tonight, the pizza was really sub standard, the ingredients have been swapped for sub standard ingredients. For example the ham on the Hawaiian is now the commercial shredded ham (not chunks of good quality ham), the chicken on the BBQ chicken and the Tandori chicken is now the commercial diced chicken (not chunks of chicken). The bases are using a different sub standard dough – it tastes sweet. None of the pizzas looked like they usually look, and none of them tastes like they usually taste. To be honest, after picking up my order, I was told that they were under new ownership, and that this happened in the last month. It’s been about 5 weeks since I bought pizza, and you can tell the difference. And not in a good way. The pizza was disappointing, and sub standard. My 5 year old even refused to eat the Hawaiian as in his words, it looked weird.

Avanti’s is by far the best pizza we’ve had and we use them regularly for party night meals. The pizzas are always delicious and they don’t hold back on the toppings. Delivery service is great when you have guests over and it’s not a ridiculous wait. Plus the team working at Avanti Pizza Cafe know us well from our regular identical orders and are just the best people!

Enjoyed a casual family birthday celebration here. Staff were super friendly and accomodating of birthday cake, supplied plates etc at no extra charge. Pizzas were fantastic. Some very unusual ones and regular faves to choose from. Great value too. Just a great little unassuming place!
