It was my partner’s birthday and I was planning a day trip together for the day and had to find a place for dinner. Bathurst seemed to have a number of good restaurants but most of them were Modern Australian cuisine and I wanted something different, and boy am I so glad I found this place.

Really nice Cantina with a fun, relaxed indoor space and a beautiful patio garden. Service was excellent and attentive, the food is fantastic and great portions and the drink menu has a nice variety of options from spicy to sweet as well as all the classics. We had an assortment of entrees and each one was full of flavour. Definitely recommend the jalapeno poppers and the quesadillas! A real gem!

Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and the chicken was absolutely incredible. Tasty cocktails too. We are only visiting the area, but if we ever come back to Bathurst we will absolutely be going back!

Some of the best Mexican I have had. The staff are very enthusiastic and interact well with the customers. They adapt well to changes in the menu if requested. There is also plenty of vegetarian options if needed. Also well worth working your way through their margarita menu.

Bland food, fatty and gristled lamb- tacos, seemed like they were left overs. Service very ordinary, as they were clearly not ready when open. Food lacked any spice, told chilli was in a sauce bottle if wanted. Asked for Churros for sweets, told they didn’t have any, as they didn’t get a delivery that day. They don’t even make their own on site. Have to say my worst dinning experience in Bathurst to date. Extremely disappointing.

Thank god someone there knows how to make queso cause the rest is ordinary. One pork taco was all fat, and the other was so dry, I had to hurry the waiter up for the coke I ordered 20 mins earlier. The lamb taco was inedible. Camaron prawns were like chewing squash balls. Wont be back.
