Today the rolls weren’t put together well and were quite tasteless. The “sandwich” had too much mayonnaise and was also falling to bits.

The staff were extremely disorganised, they failed to serve our complete order until they were appraoched 3 times over the course of 45 minutes to be constantly reminded of our order. This was despite us being the only customers. They also failed to recognise that we had ordered an out of stock item despite it being raised all three times we had to remind them of our order.

I love this little sushi place. My partner and I go here for dinner every Friday, and we’ve never had any issues or long waits. My vegan partner is still able to enjoy sushi (veg rolls and vegetable/plain udon or miso soup). The staff is always friendly and helpful, and it’s priced well! There is a toilet within a minutes walk, and lots of nice locally owned businesses near by. If you are in the barossa and want sushi, I can 100% recommend it! It’s never too crowded, and the atmosphere is perfect for a lunch date. Everything is made fresh and is absolutely delicious, and if you go, I would recommend the crispy chicken udon!

Ordered the crunchy curry chicken . Very small portion for the price, 4 pieces of chicken the size of a walnut, and the rice just soggy with what was curry flavoured gravy! Rice n gravy is not what I expected nor wanted. Didn’t eat it all as it was awe full. But the chicken was nice. Won’t be going back for a hot curry meal

Love regular visits to Dai Hiro . They are always so polite and professional, welcoming and happy to oblige any requests. Sometimes ordering off the menu leads to longer than ideal wait times as not all items are available on the train. We find Some portions a bit small for the price of the plate compared to other sushi venues we have been to but wouldn’t hold this against a regional gem like this.

Really lovely new establishment. Never thought I’d see a sushi train pop up in the Barossa but it did and it definitely does not disappoint. The staff are lovely and the sushi is great. I would recommend Katsu chicken with Udon noodles too.

Friendly service offered by a Taiwanese girl but the time of getting my tonkatsu ramen was very long, the waitress seemed so busy with many jobs to do – she had to rush to get different tasks done – I had to discover where water is & offered myself a jar of water. The ramen was not very Japanese, noodles were a bit hard (the texture wasnt good enough), the boiled egg looked sad with well cooked yolk (solid rather than runny), the pork came in a good portion but it was very thick & cooked almost in a Chinese style. Over all, not appealing not very tasty. The abolone inari was ok, not too bad. It s nice to have something different in this town, it s cool to eat there once in a while , not my go to place at all times.

Excellent sushi, good size and generous pieces of fish. Way better than most sushi places in Adelaide. Good value for money.
