Oh my goodness. Took my Nana out to lunch, had heard about this place and made the drive hoping it lived up to the hype. It well and truly exceeded all expectations. My nan and I had the BEST lunch together under a sun umbrella on a gorgeous picnic table. The food was AMAZING, I had the fruit salad bowl and she had “the best croissant she’s ever had” the location is stunning and days later we are STILL talking about it.

So my wife heard about this place from a work client and she said she wanted to go down for breakfast there for her birthday. When we arrived there is parking but limited but we arrived on a Friday mid morning when it wasn’t to busy. Hate to see what it’s like on a weekend day. They have lovely fresh bakery items on display. I thought I would get the bolognese sausage roll and my wife got the eggs on toast with avo and holumi. She loved her meal and was well presented and tasted fresh. My sausage roll wasn’t that good to be honest. It was a bit dry and the seasoning was very week. The outdoor eating area was really relaxing. My daughter said the doughnut she had was the best she has ever had which is a pretty big call. It’s was nice for a change.

Highly recommend! So good we had to go back again and again. Although busy, the service is prompt and doesn’t take long for food or drinks to come out even on a busy Friday or Saturday. Food is excellent quality and tastes amazing. Coffee tastes great, aswell as the juices.

Yum!! Cubby Bakehouse is obviously a favourite for the locals, always being busy. Dropped in for some takeaway and ordered the beef bolognese sausage roll, almond croissant, coffee and a milkshake. The almond croissant was so fresh it was still warm out of the oven – so delicious! Have been here a few times and will continue to come back.

it’s not often that you get to say “I think that was the BEST (whatever) I’ve had in my life” but my daughter and I both agreed that the cookie we just ate from the Cubby Bakehouse, was exactly that!! We popped in to get a takeaway coffee – also very good – and saw the tray of freshly baked cookies on the counter. we chose one of the delicious looking chocolate chip with chocolate oozing from the top and shared it sitting on a bench across the road, overlooking the river. not much more to add. if you want a superlative cookie experience (their bread and sandwiches also looked pretty delicious), then don’t miss this place! 11 out of 10!!

Cubby bakehouse is the go-to stop off the highway for great coffee and tasty treats. Coffee was delicious and full flavoured. All their cabinet items are very well presented and well priced. The menu offering is good, but honestly, just buy some better plates! My girlfriend’s sourdough was so tough to cut on the enamel plates that it was flying off of it!
