Good value, fresh and very tasty food! Has a range of options from Asian to Greek as well as pasta. I recommend the Pad Thai noodles but the seafood is some of the freshest in SA, seafood night is a must!

What has happened at Mr Nick’s recently? For such a long time, my partner and I ate there on a regular basis, using it as a chance to have some delicious and well-priced meals and enjoy restaurant quality service. After our first experience, we recommended Mr Nicks to many of our friends and family as a great dinner experience. The food has always been consistently good and we have enjoyed the various menus and food experiences that have been offered.

I love experiencing exceptional customer service. A focus on customer outcomes can be present at literally every part of a business. That’s not the case here. We called prior to do some research. We were advised that “kids eat free”, and made a booking. Upon being seated, we were told “kids dont eat free”. We ordered anyway. The kids ordered some meals, I ordered a Waygu burger, and my wife ordered a salad with entree. We also requested additional cutlery as the table was not prepared. I was presented with a Waygu steak, the entree burnt my wife’s tongue, the salad and cutlery never arrived, and the kids meals were so small, we purchased additional food from the supermarket and bought it to our table. I think the staff were sympathetic because they didn’t charge for my meal … although now i think about it, this may have been a mistake as well. On the way home, we chatted about our meals. Turns out we all thought the meals tasted bland! I love this Foodland, but more can be done to improve customer outcomes. Happy to be contacted for more suggestions or feedback if required.

WHAT HAPPENED? We had eaten many times at Mr Nicks in the past, the service was professional, the meal was always fantastic. The concept of an exceptional restaurant in a supermarket was literally unheard-of in suburban Adelaide. We had enjoyed the seafood tower in the past. We had a friend visiting from the country so we came along early to book and asked if the seafood tower could be done for 3 persons and were assured that the kitchen could accommodate. When we came in for our meal, the staff were not watching for prospective diners, when we did find the waitress she seemed puzzled to find the table set for 3 persons but there it was in front of her. The waitress gave us the menu and a well worn specials menu, we had to ask for a wine list.

I have been coming to Mr. Nick’s Kitchen and Coffee Bar for the last three years and that’s because they serve some of the best dishes our there at reasonable prices as well. From cooked steaks, Asian cuisine to seafood platters, this place offers so many delicious food using local ingredients and products Foodland sells. So it makes the experience of dinning and grocery shopping amazing. My other recommendations to order from here is the rib eye steak, kangaroo steak, king whiting ceviche and katsu curry. They also serve alcohol as well such as wines, gins and beers. You will not regret dinning out here.

Friendly staff and nice meal! We ordered meat plate and seafood plate, I love the lamb rib and porterhouse steak , it is yammy, and I ordered chowder soup with bread, it taste good!
