Drove up from Brisbane for a Sunday lunch. Food was good to very good, especially scallop sashimi and tempura shrimp, and sake was.good and reasonably priced. The food is $$ to $$$ for lunch and the staff was friendly. FYI there is no sushi counter, only tables. Some Google oics show a sushi bar and.maybe even their website!

The staff were kind, friendly and knowledgeable, and the addition of some live music was a nice touch but created more of a local pub feel rather than a Japanese restaurant vibe. All in all an amazing experience – would reccomend!

This place is what I would call an upmarket style Japanese reastaurant with more affordable prices. There is a large menu with kids options too. The service is great, very friendly staff who also don’t bother you too much which is nice.

The black mayo in the deep fried squid is so yum and unique, in which you can tastes more than 5 flavors! The tom yum spide roll is creative, but it is more similar with normal spicy and sour flavor since its sauce lacks flavor of lemongrass.
