I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The Cajun chicken strips and chicken schnitzel were delicious and tender, with just the right amount of spice and crunch. The kids menu had a variety of options that my children enjoyed, and the drinks were very affordable and refreshing. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was fresh and inviting. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a satisfying and affordable meal. There is also a pool for the kids!

I’ve been twice now to CBB and have enjoyed it both times. The service was wonderful and the menu plain and simple but tasty and the surroundings really lovely to dine in. A good local bistro that is away from the crowds in PD township.

It’s 11:23pm and I live on the other end of Mudlo street and can hear the music absolutely blasting from the venue. Would be grateful if you’d respect the residents who live in the area.

Very disappointed! Our family got takeaway, which took over an hour to make. No reason was provided for the ridiculous wait (the bistro wasn’t very busy at all) but that ‘it would be delicious’ so worth the wait. I’m afraid that was not the case – the fish in the fish and chips was dry (it was actually inedible and we had to throw it out), the chicken burger was undercooked, the steak sandwich and beef burger was also very average. My parents have lived in Port Douglas for 15 years and said it was the worst meal they have ever had in the area. Don’t waste your money and time – there are so many better options around.
