We were very late but staff were happy to seat us. Had Mushroom Rissoto & Eggplant & a side of chips.

After reading some reviews on this place I expected it to be terrible. Actually the food was enjoyable. I consider myself a bolognese connoisseur (I’m serious and also joking about that) and their bolognese was actually good. I’d have preferred a bit more sauce but the meat and sauce they had was nice. The ragu was also very tasty. The pizza was also decent. My only complaint would be that I’d have expected more from a 5 star restaurant but considering I had very low expectations from reviews which were almost a year old I ended up pleasantly surprised.

Guests at the Sheraton, we decided to eat here rather than driving in to town so we wouldn’t need a designated driver… I wasn’t overly impressed.

Waited 45 minutes from arriving before our drinks arrived, and a very stale nut mix. Had to get our own water from the waiters station as we weren’t given any. Food was fine but not worth the price given the bad service. Multiple staff members were setting up for breakfast the next day despite it being the middle of dinner service and multiple tables left without drinks/water/food.

Oven cooked freezer food served 1.5 hours after being ordered and it cost $100 for 2 (just for food). Criminal/diabolical – wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy. Please if you’re staying at the Sheraton just pay the $11 for a return trip into Port Douglas and go to a real restaurant. Find an image of the ‘duck wontons’ attached.

We are currently staying at the Sheraton Grand Mirage and Feast is one of the restaurants at the hotel. We had a beautiful meal there last night and we have booked to go there again tonight. Between all of us who were there we had the sirloin steak and barramundi and all meals were really enjoyable. I’ve also been there in the past and they make a nice negroni as well. We want to make a special mention of Ami, our waitress. She provided outstanding customer service, ensuring we had an enjoyable evening. Ami is an absolute asset to the Feast team!

Excellent breakfast buffet. Wow wide variety of options and more importantly the food tastes really delicious. Entire staff was very friendly and attentive and special mention to the Bruce Li at the egg station. Well done kitchen team and entire staff at Feast. Keep it up.

I’ll give two star for service. Food was very average. My steak was not cooked properly and my wife pasta were over cooked..

Really poor experience here. 1 hour for 3 sandwiches to arrive, price was average 38 pp with no alcohol. Staff did not explain the delay, or offer any updates etc. We came here as it was tied to the Sheraton name. I’m sure the other restaurant with the hats is decent but this isn’t.

Our family buffet dinner for 5 (2 adults 3 kids all under 12) ended up costing $435 for what was a completely average experience mid week, $89 per adult plus $44.50 per child. A total rip off. Even our most expensive meals in much better restaurants in town were not as costly and far better quality/atmosphere. Would not repeat. Apart from incapable service, the dress code of the average punter leaves much to be desired. Many diners arrive straight from the pool and tank tops/basketball sweaters are the norm. Kids all plugged into devices like parents don’t want them around. Better if they just go to Maccas and not kill the experience for people who genuinely want a nice evening in at the hotel. So apart from ordinary food and service maybe Feast can review its policy on dress code plus plugged in kids giving the place an airport food court vibe.
