Had a great day… took my best friend for her birthday. Had booked the garden tour, but the weather wasn’t brilliant, so they changed it up a bit to a garden and house tour, which was brilliant! This was followed by a three course lunch, and everything was delicious! Highly recommend the beef rib which literally melted in the mouth, and the asparagus entree was so tasty!

Quite the nice venue and the course menu is relatively affordable for a fancy meal in the Yarra Valley. Food tasted great for the most part, wasn’t all that impressed by their desserts though. It took a while for the food to come out, but they were generous with seating time despite saying it was limited.

Place was really nice! Loved the courtyard and the interiors of the restaurant were nicely done. We had our lunch here to which we really enjoyed the soup entree. The mains that we had (pork belly and beef rib) were okay. The charcuterie was okay as well. Great selection of wines though.

House tour and high tea is highly recommended. Dame Nellie Melba’s home (which has remained largely original) is a must see of Australian history. The guide was very good. High tea was delicious and service was excellent.
