Hubert Estate 3770

Social Profile:

There’s something liminal about the Australian landscape. A sense that the thread of the past and the future remains unbroken. Pick up that thread, follow it less than an hour from the heart of Melbourne, and find yourself in Australian wine country. Hubert Estate is host to Quarters Restaurant, Harriett Events space, St Huberts Cellar Door and Hubert Gallery Of Art. With love from Hubert Estate.

Had a tasting and lunch here and both were fantastic. Harry in the tasting room took great care of us and even without a reso they squeezed us in. The main dining area was buzzing and fun. Pizza, salad, wedges, all of it was good and casual but still high quality. It’s help yourself water sparkling and still — nice touch. Good value in the valley. Book in advance as it gets busy.

Had lunch here at the weekend. It was very busy so I’m glad we booked. Ordering via the app was very quick and easy, but we were advised that if we preferred we could order inside. The food was really good, shared between us and everyone liked each dish. They had still and sparkling water available for the tables which you could help yourself too. There was a weekend surcharge which I’ve noticed is becoming a more regular addition these day, but I would still highly recommend this place and also recommend booking!

Love the food, chicken wing is a must-try! Great paring with the white wine. The tiger prawns were fresh and the pork pizza had a great balance of salty and sweetness.

Modern and refined winery experience. The Hubert Estate side is a nice upper casual dining venue with good food and plenty of dining spaces indoors and outdoors. There is a cellar for wine tasting and wine purchases with other local brands stocked.

Recently developed the St Hubert’s Winery is a modern development with an indoor/outdoor Quarters restaurant, Conference/Wedding etc venue rooms, St Hubert’s Winery Tasting rooms and sales area and Art Gallery. Expansive rolling lawn areas with great views of the winery and surrounding area.

Today we had our lunch at HE, unfortunately they removed the grill octopus from their menu.

I would definitely recommend for a casual dining experience. The place is absolutely stunning. Perfect for larger groups. The service was welcoming but you do need to get your own cutlery and plates etc

Fine spot for lunch in the Yarra Valley. Wide array of items to pick from so everyone can likely find something. You order at your table with a QR code, so much of the experience is self-service. Only complaint is how the food comes out. Depending on what you get, they’re made in different kitchens so would weirdly come out at vastly different times. For the food, we got the Margherita pizza (light and doughy), grilled corn cob (super small, not really worth it), crispy whitebait (salty and perfect with the fatty aioli), pork ribs (very small), ancient grain salad (deceivingly large dish; not tons of flavor but great crunch), and the fries (perfect and crispy).

Wood fired pizza is tasty with generous and high quality ingredients. IPA and Pinot Noir are really good. Heaps of parking at the front. Cellar door is under the hill and there’s a nice art gallery at the lower level with aboriginal artworks.
