Attended the Waurn Ponds premises with my daughter yesterday for a quick feed before the movies. Service was really good, friendly, polite and approachable. I ordered 1 boss burger for the little one and 1 hound dog for myself. We also had a strawberry milkshake each. It cost me $48. Seemed quite expensive for the amount I ordered, and I’m not usually one to worry about cost. I would have forgotten about the price if the food was delicious, but unfortunately it wasn’t. Hot dog was cold, flavour ok and milkshake was, ok. Burger was good she said. I personally think if your going to charge that price for your food, please make it hot and flavourful with just a little hint of love. This is the first time I’ve been disappointed with their food. Maybe it was just a bad day….will be back, but not in a hurry.

We visited Boss Burger for dinner, service was good. The place is small, luckily we went late so there was space available to eat in. Ordered “The Boss, Sonny Red and fries”. The burgers were well presented, tasty, the portion sizes here are small, so if you’re hungry you might have to order extras. The night cost us $30, reasonable for trendy burgers. Worth a visit.

Simple burgers that aren’t crazy and overloaded with ingredients, but where every component has its place and does it well. The ingredients sing and the flavours all work together superbly. Both the beef and the chicken burgers are solid, with texture and flavour on point. Very satisfied and has become one of my top 3 favourite burger joints. Highly recommended!

Have you changed the fries to something incredibly cheap? Not seasoned at all, nothing like the awesomeness they used to be. Gravy fries used to be delicious, but even the gravy seemed watered down compared to a few months ago. That’s a lot of money for something with very little flavour. Hope this was just one bad batch…
