Betty’s has been a favourite go to of mine for a while now. I usually steer towards their sweet breakfasts but today I went for a savoury option and it was delicious! The coffee was amazing, meal was very filling, worth the wait (which should be expected over the weekends as it’s such a loved location), and the entire team of staff were very friendly. Very lively atmosphere! Lovely little way to slow down after the rush of the week.

The cafe is nice with good service and good food. However, I won’t return due to seeing they use “cage eggs”. I’m against the use of cage eggs, full stop. But when one pays for breakfast ($23 for an eggs benedict), it should be expected that free range eggs are used.

The food was delicious. However, the egg Benny that I ordered had only one egg and very runny hollandaise sauce, which was disappointing and made the meal somewhat less enjoyable than previous visits. The other two meals and coffee were of the usual high standard.

Stopped for a quick lunch on our way to Cairns. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had the smoked salmon and the green scramble. Generous portions and delicious. Loved the doorstop toast!!

The food was absolutely delicious and very fast to arrive. The café has a great relaxed vibe and the staff were very friendly – a fantastic was to start our weekend in Townsville. We will definitely be coming back!
