We were down in Port Arlington for the weekend and headed to Barwon Heads for dinner after struggling to secure a reservation at several other venues. The meal started strong with some exceptionally delicious salt and pepper calamari and we also thoroughly enjoyed the hummus and bread which was quite the generous serve.

I have been around now for 75 years, so have enough experience to say whether a restaurant is good or not so good. Well full marks to Beach House, Barwon Heads, staff and food. I chose the steak with salad and fries with pepper sauce, medium rare. My wife chose the beer battered fish with chips. Both meals were first class.

A nice place to dine. You can choose to be seated inside the restaurant or outside when the weather permits. Menu is not very elaborate, but has some good options. Take care to go inside and place your order at the counter, else you may have a long wait. Parking is by the roadside; can get busy at times.

The food was lovely and well portioned. The menu in restaurant does vary than what is on the website so beware. We had a lovely waitress who was great and friendly. The food was delicious but maybe a touch expensive for what it was but I think that goes with the location and season. Overall a great meal with a lovely local Chardonnay to pair!

Absolutely delicious food and lovely service. We had the focaccia and flat bread for entree – the focaccia was phenomenal. For mains we had steak and the special barramundi, both again amazing. And delicious desserts. The service was fabulous – we had a lovely waitress named Marni who met our every need. Thank you for a beautiful night. Highly recommend visiting and will be back soon.

Good food but quite pricey. Lamb Ragu needs more sauce. Friendly staff.
