Unreal! It’s so great to have such a culinary delight in Barwon Heads. Wife and I opted for the relax menu, where the chef prepared a number of treats for us. Food was plentiful, and most importantly delicious! As BH locals – Tommy Gunns is now our chosen place to go.

Counting myself so lucky to have something of this calibre so close to home. Plus there’s a kids menu! At a French restaurant! I didn’t bring my kid as I wanted to enjoy myself (ha!) but it’s great that they’re catered to. Everything was incredible from the food, to cocktails, service and ambience. A little smaller venue size than I anticipated but that made me love it even more. Looking forward to my next visit and sampling more of that delectable menu.

I very much wanted to love a Tommy Guns and I had heard great things. 5 of us went for dinner and got the relax menu. The food was quite good, and the staff were very friendly. However, for us there was far too much time in between meals at one point waiting 45 minutes after entree. I know some people prefer this but with smaller bites I found myself regularly looking at the kitchen and at passing staff hoping our food was coming and this took away from my ability to “relax”. The overall quantity of food was underwhelming. It felt as if it was 4 persons serves of food for 5 people at times. Maybe if dessert was included it might have evened out but the vibe across the table is that the value wasn’t there and that if we were to go back we definitely would order individual items. Want to love it as I dine in Barwon regularly but left too hungry to review higher.
