Bright and spacious restaurant. Perfect hot congee for winter days. Flavoursome and runny congee in various flavours. The century egg is my favourite. The large bowl is decent sized to be shared among 2. Single dough sticks are crunchy and pairs well with congee. The sweet dough sticks with added peanuts was also pretty good. Something different to try. Great casual eats. Food gets served pretty quickly.

As a Vietnamese trying this place out for the first time, this place somehow sent me back home. I started with the silky tofu with century egg, which ignited my palate for what’s to come. Both the congee and dumpling soup are delicate and go great with the accompaniments (youtiao, salted egg and spicy tripes), especially when you mashed the egg with the congee. I then finished the meal with a nice cup of warm, refreshing soy milk.

Really bad experience! mostly due to the awful customer service. the cashier made me so confused like i did something wrong or like i beg her for food. She obviously rolled her eyes and made unpleasant noise when we order the food. We asked the young girl in restaurant when pick up our food and reminded her to put cutlery in, she shouted at us and said it’s already in the bag. When we took it back we find out there are only two sets of cutlery in, but there were four of us here.this restaurant disappointed me a lot after a long journey from Melbourne to Adelaide. Never seen this before during my 7 year life in Australia.
