I like the lady boss, she helpfully ordered the steamed oysters and mixed greens for me. They were seasonally fresh and delicious. Then I ordered Sichuan pork stir-fry, with which I was not very impressed. I do like the building, the fish tank, the tea and white table cloth.

This place has been a family favourite for me for close to 10 years now. I recently came back for my birthday and was treated wonderfully from Jennifer who made it really special for me and my family. The food was fantastic and the service was immaculate! I really recommend this place if you are looking for a quality dining experience. Also try the creme brulee it is amazing!

Sunday night was a full house and was lucky to get a table. Excellent high quality Chinese food. The crab with noodles was as I’d expected. The service was quick and responsive. The only weird strange thing I don’t get were the western food options; T-bone steak and fish n chips on the menu?!? Doesn’t make sense

House of chow presents a great dining experience. The food is fresh, the flavours are balanced and the menu is vast! There’s a rotating glass on the table which is great for sharing dishes amongst a group of people. We ordered Shallot pancake, Thai curry prawns in hot pot, satay prawns, sizzling Mongolian lamb, black pepper chicken, special fried rice, steamed rice and stir fry green veggies. The ingredients are fresh, especially the seafood! All the dishes were well prepared and presented. Loved the food. Will be coming back to this gem of a place!

I’ve Always heard good things about the House of Chow and as of until recently I’ve never dined there. Last Friday night I had the pleasure of joining a friend and experiencing the restaurant for the first time. The food, the service and the atmosphere was all A1. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Would definitely like to go back again.

The House of Chow was recommended to me by colleagues on my visit to Adelaide. I’m glad I took the tip. All staff were courteous and attentive. The food I ordered was top class with the highlight (for me) was the hot and sour soup. ✔️✔️ it was obvious of its popularity as it was a full house on a Tuesday night. Next trip to Adelaide will DEFINITELY be back

We had a pleasant lunch yesterday. Between the three of us, we shared the whole Peking duck. The duck was prepared next to the table and we felt that 4 pancakes each did not hit the spot. The duck was delicious and the subsequent fried rice dish was filling. We’d skip the steamed dim sim in the future. There were only a few tables with customers yesterday and there was plenty of attention to clean dishes but we had to ask several times for water and one of the drink orders never came.
