Probably didn’t try their signature dish. Tried Pad Thai but probably the worst pad Thai I have ever eaten. Was way too sweet. Saw people ordering dish with fried Barramundi and probably that’s their signature dish. Will I try their food again? Probably not.

Been a happy customer for years but today I got ripped off. $15.90 for a stir fry with rice and the portion of tofu and veggies was less than half of what it usually is, only 2 tofu puffs and a few veggies. No photo because I was starving and I was still hungry after finishing my meal. I can’t recommend this place for anyone looking for a substantial vegetarian option in the Sussex food court which is a shame because there aren’t many.

After work visited Sussex centre to give some food court a try. Saw Yummy Thai food offering a dinner meal deal and could resist. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, couldn’t ask for more. Food served was quite deliciously and could complain much for what the price was

Had the steam fish in soy and ginger sauce for $17. Not bad and quite a healthy option when compared to what’s around. Food came out in reasonable time, around 12 mins. The fish had a lot of bones in it, but that’s to be expected at this price point. Good value for money.

This place is excellent value and survived the pandemic which says something. Portions are generous for the price. I agree with other reviews that the taste is more Aussie Thai rather than authentic Thai, but the food is still good. They also have a separate vegetarian menu upon request. The owner said they only put soy sauce in vegetarian dishes, no fish sauce. When my partner ordered from the vegetarian menu, they asked her if she can eat egg, so they understand the difference between vegan and vegetarian too. I recommend the tom yum fried rice, available both on the standard menu and on the vegetarian menu.
