I’m pretty sure this is not Japanese any more. Sashimi was pretty good. Gyoza burned on the outside and undercooked on the inside. Wafu steak was ok. Ocean trout tasted old and too fishy, likely frozen. Such a shame. As the atmosphere was nice. Disappointed. Harumaki actually more like a Chinese size spring role.

Great Atmosphere. Restaurant looked very authentic and had a good selection of dishes and drinks. The clam soup was good and sashimi was generous.

We had a great meal tonight, quality ingredients and attentive service. Gyoza was lovely, fresh tuna sashimi was well presented and tasty. Both mains were generous and well prepared.

Since the demise of Akita in North Melbourne this is a go to- not Akita’s high standard but better than most. All good but for the card surcharge. This is a scourge. If you want to rort the card payers, have a discount for cash.
