It’s been a while since the last time I had good Japanese food. We left @kosaten feeling content and satisfied. All of the dishes that we ordered were so good, but if we had to pick a favourite, the best one was the pork belly. It was just so tender and delicious. We had them over the creamy and light Asahi beer and Litchy (Lychee) sake, which was sweet and milky; so dangerously good.

Lovely selection of nigiri, rolls and specials – the kosaten grilled lamb cutlets were super juicy and the famous volcano sushi roll had some lovely textures and a light sweet chili kick. The restaurant is cosy, with 8 tables of 4, 3 tables of 2 and an open seating area for 6. Definitely worth booking prior to coming. The mini train that brings you your food is a nice special treat for those who haven’t experienced it before.

Such a cool experience! The location is really nice! Not right in the heart of town but close enough! Plenty of parking that’s also cheaper than the rest of Salamanca! The food was delicious and tasted really fresh and good quality! The presentation and the venues looks where awesome! Absolutely loved it here! Will be returning at some stage!

Nice japanese restaurant using an actual sushi train to deliver the food to you. Food was pretty good, though not as cheap as a standard sushi train place.

We came down from Sydney and we were recommended this restaurant by some friends. Totally awesome. Meals delivered by mag-lev type conveyor (no risk of injury) to table great fun and quick. We have had a lot of Japanese food, this was great, we will go again before we go home.

An enjoyable Japanese dinner is to be haf here. Think pumpkin tofu agedashi, eel nigiri sushi, tuna tataki, oyster tempura, aburi salmon roll, mixed sashimi and mixed vegetables – all very delicious. End the meal on a sweet note with the matcha tiramisu and boysenberry ice cream panna cotta!

I love this place. They do excellent food with reasonable price. I like the idea how they serve your order with a train that come directly to your table. Staffs was friendly and helpful. If you like to go check out this place I would recommend you to try soft-sell Crab, wagyu meat, chicken and prawns rolls.

Popular Japanese restaurant in Battery Point serving excellent food served on a conveyor belt. We enjoyed the dining experience with fresh sushi and sashimi in a cozy ambience. Prices are expensive for the small servings. Tables are too small for six people though.
