This was a perfect meal from start to finish! The servers were super friendly and very attentive; I had the delicious Japanese scallop gow gees, the tempura John Dory fillet (the saffron aioli was a thing of beauty!), and the creamiest vanilla bean pannacotta I’ve ever tasted. The cocktails were also excellent. I cannot recommend Wildginger Kiama highly enough!!

We had a group of 6 dine at Wild Ginger Kiama over the weekend and we indulged in the signature banquet. It was simply one of the best dining experiences we have had. All the food was unique, flavourful and in good portion. Cocktails were delicious and service was on point. Can not recommend this place enough!!

Our first visit was on Valentine’s Day (when most of the other restaurants in Kiama were shut because it fell on a Tuesday….) Lovely vibe and decor. The food was a set banquet menu and everything was delicious, with the steamed perch a stand-out. We would definitely go back and have to say Wildginger is the best restaurant in Kiama. Only negative was that we were on our 3rd entree before the bottle of wine we had ordered was served and we had to ask where it was, but in a small town if that’s the worst service issue you encounter you’re doing well. Staff seemed genuinely happy and were pleasant.

Pretty much everything is gluten free, and a coeliac friendly kitchen. Was so amazing not to need any substitutions for gluten free. The staff were great and knowledgeable. All the dishes on the banquet menu were delicious and fresh. Cocktails were great too:)

Fantastic dining experience! We were welcomed warmly by staff. Entire menu is gluten free which was amazing news for a coeliac! Food was delicious, especially the spring roll, pork belly on betel leaf and larrb mince with noodles! We will definitely be back.

Great and delicious food. Owner is very friendly and makes you feel as a valued customer. Excellent dining experience. Will definitely dine here again. If you stay in Kiama Shores, you get 25% discount plus a glass of Champagne.

We went to Wild Ginger on a Saturday night, we ordered the banquet for $79 each for my self, hubby and 2 adult boys, the food was nice and delicious, but after receiving all our serves my boys were still hungry. The dessert brownies were served in a tablespoon, just a bite size. I was dumbfounded to pay that amount of money for those size portions. Then when paying we asked for the receipt and we had been charged a 10% surcharge so that added another $38, amazing how can this be! when we were not told of the charge when booking our table. So disappointed that we will not be returning and will let many local people know not to go there, just a rip off!!!
