Have been a number of times to Bistro Selle. Not our favourite visit unfortunately. Starter was very one note in flavour (mushroom dish), creamy on creamy. The Barramundi, again creamy on creamy with nothing to balance this. From a cost point of view, the prices are fairly high which is fine if food is delicious. But really the food was average , so we avoided dessert as the bill was already high and satisfaction level was low. Hoping the menu lifts as Bistro Selle is generally a great local restaurant.

This place is a hidden gem!! Service is exceptional and compliments the delicious menu items! Oysters are fresh. Sirloin is tender and jus is magnificent! Pasta dishes are perfection. But leave space for desserts – WOW!!

What a gem of a small bistro in Albury. The service was excellent and the food delicious. The wine list was limited, but what was available was good quality and reasonably priced. The only slight criticism would be the blandness of the internal decor. A few artworks on the walls would brighten the place up a little. We will definitely be back again in the future.

Excellent food. Service interesting and sommelier was terrific. The menu was cleverly limited; a few excellent dishes always outshines a plethora of mediocre ones. Winners by the glass was a good choice for us tonight. Bookings recommended.

The food was absolutely amazing, especially entrees. We had smoked beef tarter and skate which were amazing. We had lamb, pst and steaks with steakes being amazing, jucy and cooked perfectly to medium rare. Matthew was very accomodating and gave plain pasta to out 7 years old. She loved the steak nd complimented the Chef. We tried all 3 deserts which were beautiful with a plain ice cream for a kid. So accommodating. We will be back. Thank you
