Food is decent and the price is good value.I had sliced beef on a bed of rice with a soft boiled egg. The egg was stone cold and just made for a quite strange taste. Overall experience is good but would order something different next time.

Spacious and woody interior, great for dates or in groups. Agedashi tofu was crispy and sauce was mild yet delicious. Karaage chicken was crispy and tender on the inside. Sashimi don is not bad, sushi rice was flavoursm. Wagyu sukiyaki was very delicious and heart warming, it comes with noodles as well. But the soup will go very well with rice too. Service is average.

Well known for their sushi boats! We got the sushi and sashimi boat, and an aburi set boat, and it was the right amount for four people.

Consistent in quality and a solid menu selection. The interior is quite nice and service is attentive enough. The Sashimi boat could have been better in terms of the quality of the meats used, but the quality is always consistently at that level. Other dishes are always of good quality. An 8/10 experience every time.

Been going here for 23 years even before the name change. Among best Japanese restaurants in Australia, even after visiting multiple venues in several states, no competition. No Tempura even comes close elsewhere and sushi is in top 5%. Very excited for current renovation and reopening later this year.

One of our all time favourite restaurants in Adelaide. I’d recommend booking in advance as walk-in availability is quite rare.

The restaurant is located in the heart of Adelaide city and pretty close to China town. One of the best Japanese restaurant in the town for sure. The quality of the sushis and sashimis were absolutely good and fine. I really enjoyed most of the items from scallop nigiri to tuna and salmon rolls. Good verity of authentic Japanese drinks. The staff were so professional, informative and patient. The service was a bit slow which can easily be improved. Also the choice of raw oyster on a sushi was not good at all. The combination was very unappetising, too fishy and not balanced. The fried dumplings and prawns were perfect. Well done to the team.

Hands down my favourite Japanese restaurant in Adelaide. You can’t fault the quality, service and value. The quality of the food is always consistent; I have been back at least a dozen times and it never disappoints! My favourite dishes include the aburi salmon roll, soba noodle salad and tori mayo. Everything is so fresh and bursting with flavour. Be sure to make a booking, particularly if it’s a Friday or Saturday night; they are always busy.. and for good reason!

Good food and good service! This place is worth visiting if you’re craving for some Japanese food. I specifically liked their Gyudon and Katsu Curry.
