Absolutely love the vibe of this place, and the food was very flavourful! The pizza dough and crust were perfect for me. It can be a bit on the expensive side, but it is definitely worth a visit to have some great, traditional Italian food!

A charming and authentic Italian Restaurant in Sydney. I recently went to Vino e Cucina for a Saturday night dinner and I love frequenting this neighbourhood gem for an easy outing and for special occasions. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, and a beautifully detailed inside space and a courtyard that has a comfortable ambiance in all seasons. The staff are polite and helpful, and the service is fast. Not to mention the food is delicious. A true little slice of Italy..

Been there for twice. The pizzas were really yummy! But the $39pp set was not worthwhile since calamari, spaghetti and pasta were not tasty. And Sundays has 10% surcharges on top of additional 10% surcharges for 6 pp and plus which was not expected and not being informed in advance.

Hands down one of the best Italian Restaurants in Sydney! I returned for the second time to Vino e Cucina last weekend and the food, drinks and service were all just as stunning as my first experience there. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough, it’s like a little slice of Italy!

Pizza was okay, however, the Salumi Plate was actually a joke. How you can charge $24 for a tiny plate of tiny pieces of cured meat is criminal. It was actually shocking Service was bang average, forgetting drinks as we waited for food. Place is nice, beautiful courtyard. Would I go back, no I wouldn’t! It’s a rip off. ♂️ $16 a pint of Moretti

Had been recommended to come here and told it’s some of the best Italian food. Don’t get me wrong the atmosphere, aesthetic and staff are are excellent but the food was a major let down. Firstly the price was on the high end for most Italian food and it was just underwhelming, so many better and cheaper Italian restaurants just in Paddington alone, not including other suburbs. Even with the cost of a meal the side plates are plastic…. but they have branded wine glasses? $10 for the Focaccia which I found quite dry and a bit bland, I did ask for the truffle butter with it but that never came but I’m not sure if they just forgot, I didn’t make a fuss, the focaccia shouldn’t need anything else, but this did. The special I had was the Gnocchi and the meat was dry too, the sauce wasn’t rich but the portion size is good. The other dish was the spaghetti al frutti di mare, again a bit tasteless and seafood didn’t seem too fresh (ate on a Sunday night) but was filling. I don’t usually do bad reviews but I can’t recommend Vino e Cucina unless you’ve tried most restaurants in Sydney and want somewhere new or just want somewhere to take some photos.
