Has been keen to try this fish & chips shop but always distracted to get another food instead. But, this time, I randomly decided to try after a quick grocery in Aldi. Bought the standard fish n chips using hake fish and added 1 crabstick and dimsim. Not gonna lie, I had low expectations for this shop, but it turns out I was wrong. The fish batter was crispy and well season. The fish is fresh as well as the chips. The portion, for the fries was just ok, not too much or too little but the fish is humongous. The salt on the chips also perfect. My only suggestion will be to fry the fries a bit longer, probably a minute or less. Otherwise, definitely will come back if I want fish n chips. Another good thing, this shop is Halal certified.

Happened to visit this place last night for the first time with my to-go fish n chips shop closing for holidays. Most importantly, it took exactly 30 mins to get my fish n chips after the moment I paid, which was hard to believe as you know it’s not really a cuisine and there were only 3 customers ahead of me. It tasted okay yet the lemon piece that came with the fish n chips was too dry to squeeze. I would say it was not too bad overall though I believe there certainly are a few things that customers would like to see for improvements.

The best fish and chips in Perth! Not too oily or salty. The fish are fresh and cooked perfectly. Crunchy outside and soft buttery inside but still have the firm Baramundi texture. The service from the young guy who served us and the lady owner who cooked the meal was 5 stars. Friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come back real soon!

Unfortunately just ordered 2 x snapper and chips at $43 and it was awful. Chips luke warm and floury. The biggest disappointment was fish. Very thin covered in a hideous covering that was thin and had the texture like breadcrumbs and a funny flavour. The batter wasn’t batter. Goodness knows what it was made from. All in all bloody awful.

Ordered half family feast, beef sausage and $2 extra chips. The food was terrible. Clearly the oil had not been changed in awhile. Tasted like play doh. Chips were horrible, serving size of the chips was very disappointing. I would like to know how much chips an extra $2 gets you. Probably 8 individual chips judging by how much was there. Fish was a good size, but ruined by the oil. I was left trying to get the taste out of my mouth. Wouldn’t recommend eating here unless they lift their game. Much better fish and chip joints around.

Wow. Can’t believe I found this place. I thought I would give it a go after going to the same place for many years. And after trying these guys I realised that the previous place was not really that good. I’m glad I tried and this place is definitely my go to fish n chips. Thanks guys.

Possible the worst batter I have experienced. Fish looks like it’s lived in the freezer beyond its expiry and I could tie my hair with the squid rings. Definitely a local let down. Sorry guys.
