Best grilled fish and chips in ages. Fish is soft, delicious, and perfectly cooked. Chips are big and chunky and yummy. Quick and efficient. The order is one (1) serve of fish and chips and you get two pieces of fish as says on the menu.

As said by others it’s a bit pricey BUT worth the money. Barramundi and chips was big, 2 fillets included. We shared the barramundi which was fresh moist and tasty with nice batter. Also got battered oysters and prawn cutlets again both were delicious.

This is a hidden gem. Excellent seafood with the best largest juiciest Tiger Prawns I’ve ever had. Very reasonably priced for quality seafood in an outdoor restaurant setting with service. Fish and chips with salad was fantastic crispy, fresh delicious and the calamari is the real deal. All this with wine, bought next door, fabulous live music under cover with a beautiful wisteria vine. The day was 33 deg but we didn’t feel hot under the canopy. Not glamorous but rustic and a perfect afternoon. Not only that but the 2 guys running it couldn’t have been more accommodating. We didn’t have a booking and they fitted us in at a busy time and were wonderful about it. The other staff were so friendly too. This is equal to many upmarket seafood houses in Sydney. Plus it’s a lovely drive and walk around. What a hit we’ll be back.

I had lunch at this seafood eateries close to Hawkesbury train station on recent Sunday and ordered a grilled snapper fish and chips. The fish fillets were grilled nicely and accompanied by nice chunky chips. Prices on the menu are on premium side, as expected from places at this tourist spot area.

Claudia and the team at Lifeboat Seafood do a superb job. My party had lunch and everything was excellent. I had the fresh seafood plate while my companions chose battered options. Servings were very generous and the taste was sensational. Claudia in particular was extremely friendly and helpful. A little casual tucked away gem, Lifeboat Seafood, is a great spot to enjoy delicious seafood. Do yourself a favour and check it out.
