Nothing good to say here. Dropped in to The Salty Squid down at Shell Cove Marina before heading to the footy and ordered 5 meals. My 3 grandsons enjoyed their burgers. Hubby enjoyed his 3 scallops, chiko roll and a seafood stick which were all placed on top of my battered piece of whiting. At first I said my fish & chips meal deal was missing, but after going through the boxes found the chips separate and then my squashed, dry, crispy piece of whiting sitting at the bottom. Presentation was terrible…

Coming for a short break from canberra & love this seafood cafe. The price reflects the quality & pleasant experience. The fish chips is nicely battered with non greasy after taste. While salt pepper squid is cooked to perfection, I feel a tad bit too much pepper & affect the taste. Overall enjoyable with the view to marina.

Beautiful location with plenty of options for seating. Food was delicious, we had a family pack (incl. Fish, calamari, fish cocktails and chips). Drink selection is very light on (especially for the 1.25l you get with the pack). Staff was light and focused on the cook so service was slow. Food didn’t take too long.

Wonderful seafood restaurant on the marina in Shell Cove. We went for brunch and then went back another time for oysters and wine. The most delicious oysters I’ve ever eaten. The manager, Megan, was very attentive and knowledgeable telling us all about where the restaurant sources their produce. It’s also a dog-friendly venue. Would definitely go back!

Rudest customer service experience and execution. They don’t even deserve the one star rating that was given. Not only did the young girl speak to customers in a disgusting manner. My mum & My daughter waited over 45 minutes for their meal. My mother had asked for a refund in which the girl said they had to wait for the manager which took another 20 minutes for her to come in and by chance my number was called was but was served stone cold and was originally the wrong order. No refund was given. Will never return.

Amazing food and great ambience. The menu was really interesting – must have their avo smash which is a creative twist on the standard. The staff were lovely and the coffee was seriously good. I’ll absolutely be going again.
