Vibrant aesthetic is just the start! I love this Flinders Lane gem. Hidden in the back of Garden State Hotel, the colourful 70s Italo interior decor made me smile as soon as I entered. We were greeted by a friendly maître d who found us a table at lunch with out a booking and showed us to our seats near the bar. We were quickly offered menus and our drink orders taken – 2 delicious and zesty non-alcoholic margaritas! We ordered a selection of tapas style starters – octopus salami, deep-fried zucchini flowers, crumbed bocconcini, and arancini balls with tomato sugo. After all those delightful hot nibbles we were too full for mains, but ready for a sweet. The ricotta cannolis went down a treat! Recommended to wash down with a coffee. Overall I would give this restaurant 10/10 and can’t wait to return for another work lunch with my team, or a boozy birthday party!

This is a cool place at the back of the bar at The Garden State Hotel. The walls are decorated with bottles of liquor which is quite attractive and not the typical Italian restaurant feel. We ordered the focaccia and it was amazing. It makes me want to come back soon. I ordered the cotoletta in mustard sauce which was delicious. The only hiccup is we ordered potatoes side with our meal which didn’t arrive until we finished with no acknowledgement that it was forgotten. This was the only blemish on what was good and friendly service. My daughter got a free tirramasu dessert for her birthday which was nice. Will be back soon for focaccia.

The interior of this restaurant is incredible and so gorgeous to look at. The ideal location to have a celebration and get together with friends. They get booked out pretty quickly especially on weekends and close to holiday seasons so definitely book ahead of time.

Loved how the restaurant is hidden away inside the building behind the pub. It’s such a beautiful interior with great bustling atmosphere. Food was on the pricier side for the quality and serve. Still a great place for dinner!
