Quaint, rustic little restaurant, friendly staff – lots of breakfast options. First time seeing shakshuka on a menu here. Salads are fresh and tasty. Burger is uninspired (frozen patties?) Chippy score 3/10 (chips taste like commercial french fries). Tap water tasted like a wet dog.

Found this lovely outdoor garden Cafe, as I walked through there were 2 staff that looked at me but said nothing. I didn’t feel any welcome from any of the staff. There was no ‘can I get you a table’ nothing! I sat on a table and waved down a waiter to order. I was told to go to counter as it’s pay and order. I saw the veggie breakfast special which I ordered, the girl who took my order punched in total then just held eftpos out. I had to ask how much it was? It ended up being $31 (not sure how this is a ‘special’) There was no ‘would you like a coffee’? I was going to order a coffee but decided not to after such bland and unfriendly feeling. The breakfast was nothing special and as I sat there I watched people come and go without much interaction with staff. It’s a shame as it’s a lovely set up and could be such a more memorable place had the staff just engaged & smiled more. I won’t recommend or visit again.

The reviews really don’t reflect the experience I had here, sad I didn’t take any photos, but also goes to show that you can’t always trust what you read, cause if I had I would of missed out. I had the fish and chips and it was delicious, the staff was lovely, there was a bit of a wait to place my order but they were only 2 so very understandable. In saying that the food came fast. I also ordered dessert, the orange cake and chai and both delicious. I truly don’t understand how people could leave such nasty reviews I have been to far worst places and this is definitely not one of them. Great job to the team.

I love the atmosphere of Sisters cafe. This was my fifth visit in about six years, and the service has definitely improved! Staff were really friendly. Bring your dog and sit outside like we did (we scored a couch which he loved). My mussels were delicious and the wines from Foxy’s Hangout were divine.

In terms of atmosphere this place is pretty nice for a beach town. That’s about where my positive commentary stops. The food was subpar, the staff was unattentive and not conversive, and overall I just didn’t join my experience.
