The pretty sandstone building was once a pancake and milkshake house named Buckley’s Chance. Now, there’s brunch cocktails, churro waffles with ice-cream, healthy breakfast bowls, braised brisket eggs Benny, and some of the best people-watching in the area. Whether you visit with kids or bring friends and get stuck into the booze, the large outdoor seating area remains the place to be, as it was with Boss’s Daughter and Buckley’s Chance.

Stopped here for breakfast while completing sections of the Bay Walking Trail. Some outdoor seating under the footpath awning, or a large dining area out back. Efficient staff, nice coffee and delicious breakfast options. There is on street parking nearby. A little on the pricey side, but probably similar to other cafes in Sorrento.

Stopped in with my family for brunch one day. We sat outside and ordered two mains and some sides to share between the four of us. The food was okay, just not fantastic when you find the pomegranate used on your dish is old and dry. Found the price point quite high for what we received. Only after we had eaten our food we noticed birds flying in and out of the sweets display in the window, peaking at food, which was quite off putting to see and hope that food was not going to be served to anyone to eat. Service was okay. Just don’t think I would be a repeat customer to this cafe again just based on the level of freshness and hygiene witnessed.

Great food, My partner ordered the egg’s Benny and I had the breaky burger, the eggs Benny was quite large and my partner loved it. I will say the breaky burger was quite small but there are plenty add ons you can include also. Overall everything was really tasty.

Overall very good food, but highly priced and not very consistently priced. A side of two large hash-browns is $6.00, while a side of fresh berries is $4.50, which included one strawberry and a few defrosted frozen blueberries. Felt I could have just got a punnet of fresh berries and gotten more out of it. Worth noting that the menu is more limited on a Saturday and you can only order through your phone.

Nice place, however the waiter on duty was not the friendliest.
