We visited The Salopian Inn on a Friday for lunch. Myself and 5 mates opted for the $90pp feed me menu. What can I say but everything was outstanding. The food was diverse and delicious. The service was prompt and welcoming. Couldn’t rate it highly enough. We even got to pick our own wine from the cellar. Must visit!

So good, food was all delicious, service was attentive and fast and the actual place is stunning. Stand out for me was the gnocchi, it was light and fluffy and well balanced with the sauce. The pork buns were also amazing, particularly the chilli sauce that went with it. Worth a visit if you are after a nice lunch.

Overall – 8.5/10 – It’s not fine dining but it doesn’t cost what fine dining does either. We paid $50/pp without drinks, the food and service were great. Salopian is a bench mark for restaurants in this price range.

The highlight meal of our wine trip so far…after a morning of wine tasting we stopped in and had an exceptional lunch of pithivier chicken, cavatelli with beef ragu, fresh salad and kipfler potatoes…what a lovely lovely tasty surprise. Def be back every opportunity we have.

This was one of the best meals we had by far AND fantastic service. We enjoyed a few apples and shared them between our party. One of our folks is allergic to shellfish and they made some wonderful recommendations to avoid this. Food was absolutely delicious. This is a must try while in the area!
