Friend booked in to go dine here, booking was made, only for them to rock up (on their anniversary I might add) to the business being closed. Why take a booking if you aren’t open? I will also note the owners responses to other negative reviews. Get a grip and realise you’re killing your business. Treat your customers with respect, treat your employees with respect and pay them. Absolutely pathetic and not worth your time. 1 star waiting is frankly too much!

Beautiful, delicious food, lovely staff, and nice location, in the middle of the McLaren Vale wine region. A nice place to go after a day at the wineries or just to have a good night out away from the city.

The Artel …… Superb lunch 8 course tapas meal with wine, 3 options for the wine rose, white or red. Meal consisted of salt and pepper squid, salsa, potato skins, 2 x cheeses with crackers pita and pretzals. Arancini balls delicious!, plum meatballs, southern style chicken pieces and chicken wings with quite a hot sauce. My partner and i left so full. Great food, great service and accross the road from Tintara wineries too. Well worth the trip.
