I had the vegetarian pizza and the vegetarian pasta. The vegetarian pasta was very ordinary. They literally just boiled pasta and combined with vegetables with no sauce. The pizza was better. It tasted like they handmade the dough.

Went in at about 630 on a Friday night and the place was packed. We managed to get lucky and find a table. Ordered some food, a steak, grilled salmon and lamb cutlets. Everything was fantastic and despite the crowds we had been served and finished eating within 45 minutes of sitting down. The staff are a well oiled machine. Drinks were reasonably priced too. Would recommend.

Came to Royal Hotel whilst in town for work. A very modern hotel with plenty of room! Massive menu of great pub foods. Had the load parmi which was brilliant! Portion size was massive and really reasonably priced. Food was out very quickly! Big selection of drinks and staff were super friendly! Not a lot of parking but just down the street there is a big car park so it’s only a short walk. All in all would highly recommend!

It attracts normal people, the crowd are never to complain of. We had the rib eye steak cooked to perfection. We were lucky to score a table that was booked for later in the evening so we filled up well and departed quite satisfied! The house red is very nice too

Excellent food and atmosphere, the cocktails were fantastic. Best steak I’ve had in ages! Live music on a Thursday night, wonderful staff and facilities. Only downside was the bistro area was a bit cramped with tables close together and to the bar, but overall a wonderful spot for a meal out. My brother highly recommends the fruit tingle!
