Staying at the El Lago hotel so rang to get two small pizza’s and a spaghettig bolognese from Red Pepper Pizza. The food took about 40 mins to an hour to arrive but when it arrived the Spaghetti arrived with no fork or any other means to eat it. When I rang the manager said we dont supply forks (never had a single other place not supply them) and what home does not have forks. I explained we were in a hotel so we needed one and that there was nothing on the menu about them not being supplied. She went on to say they didnt supply them because they focused on speed of delivery (they weren’t fast anyway) and she wasn’t going to send the driver back to deliver them. She refused to do anything to help. I would not use them again if they were the last pizza shop on earth and think their attitude stinks and their food expensive and mediocre..

Picture this. You’re road-tripping your way to Queensland and you make the decision to stop half way through NSW along the coast. The accommodation is sorted, and after hours worth of driving you’re keen for a solid dinner worth your holiday dollars. Well, this establishment is exactly what you’re looking for. A combination of quality food at a reasonable price, you’ll be content with the decision. We went for different variations of the carbonara. The gnocchi was SO GOOD, and it was a proper creamy carbonara too. We also had a side of BBQ meatlovers pizza, which was also very nice. The staff were helpful and willing to provide containers for what we couldn’t finish. There is limited seating but looks like this is offset by plenty of people opting for takeaway, so at least you’ve got the options there too.

The best pizzas by far. Crisp crust, generous, tasty toppings with lots of choices to suit everyone. The prices are reasonable. I haven’t tried their pastas yet but I’m sure I will. I’ll be back again and again. The staff are friendly and busy, which says it all.

Ordered here on a Sunday night. Ordered at 6.30pm and was told 20min wait. At 7.10pm I checked on my order as I saw multiple take away orders and dine in orders after my order had their food already. I was told “We’re making it”. At 7.20pm another staff came to tell me that they could only do 5 of the 8 wings I ordered – a whole hour after I ordered! But they will add more wedges and a corn cob, ha!…. An hour after ordering I got my food (pale wings, tasteless wedges and average at best pizza) and the restaurant was empty and all take away orders done…. And zero apology… I’m just happy I told this to a customer looking to order and they took their business elsewhere! Never again!!
