Sunday night Seaford smorgasbord. Disappointing food. Spanner crab was overcooked, and I suspect not fully thawed before being cooked. First, handful of prawns was very nice, the next walk through was overcooked…Drinks are reasonably priced service was good. Garlic prawns had good flavour but again seemed overcooked. Roast pork and vegetables were very nice, and the stir-fry was also very good being cooked to order.

The egg station was atrocious, people were eating there now cold breakfast whilst waiting for a fried egg. And this did not seem to be a problem for the staff. One lady had to ask 3 times for her order to be completed as it was forgotten. Need more organisation. Extremely over priced and over rated. Only good thing was the cold water

Beyond disappointed. Not ONE main option for a vegetarian or vegan (unless you classify Mac & cheese or a slice of cheese pizza a main). My options (for a whopping $65) were a couple of sides… Steamed cauliflower (drowning in cream), potato chips or lettuce (that you can add tomato to if you want). I get that it is my choice to be vegetarian, but the whole point of a buffet is having OPTIONS, and I feel it is pretty dismal to not offer a SINGLE main for a vegetarian. Looked sensational for a meat eater though… Every meat and seafood you can imagine… Pulled pork, whole fish, prawns, crab, chicken, cured meats, other cooked meats… Incredible options! That is value. Honestly, vegetarians should eat free under your current offering. Even the “make your own stir fry”… There were 5 meat options and no meat alternative, which meant a starry would have been capsicum, tomato (?!) and zucchini. Not appealing. Dessert options were good for a vegetarian (not for a vegan though). With the dozens of meats you offer, it wouldn’t kill you to put out a couple of vegetarian mains… Even a basic vegetarian lasagna or gourmet salad. Aside from that, the venue is lovely, beautiful interior design… Some excellent staff (and some who could be taught to upscale their manners). If you offered vegetarian, I would return.

7 of us went here for the buffet breakfast last Monday. $20 for locals. Food options were absolutely amazing. Great selection. Barista made coffee was additional but the dirty chai was worth the extra. Great location sitting by the pool.

The last few times that I have eaten there, the Oysters were very bland in taste, The spanner crabs had no taste at all (don’t know why ), prawns were small, but very nice. The bowls (to put seafood scraps in), on the tables could be a lot bigger. Still a pleasure to dine there, apart from those few things.

It’s a little confusing because everything is far away from each other. All separate little areas for the food but everything else was great.

Am so disappointed with the Italian Buffet night. Just wasted our money and left being disgusted with it all. Those chefs who cooked that ought to be ashamed of themselves to call that food. Where is the variety? I am speechless. That was not a buffet. That was three or four hot disgusting choices. Pizza was awful and was handled by one of the chefs with no gloves on. Deserts were just a wet soggy mess. Chocolate mousse had water in the bottom of it. Macaroons were wet and soggy on the bottom. And the list goes on. Was looking forward to ending my holiday and stay of The Ville with a lovely dinner with my husband but instead this has left a very sour taste in my mouth about the whole place after being served this slop. DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOUR A STAY RIGHT AWAY FROM THE PALM HOUSE. If I could leave no stars I would.
