We had the most delightful dining experience at The Loose Goose! From the moment we entered. the atmosphere was enchanting, earning a solid 5 stars in my book. We visited The Loose Goose last night for dinner and it’s our new favourite restaurant on the Sunshine Coast. The staff are simply wonderful and are a credit to the establishment- friendly, happy, efficient and helpful. The atmosphere was uplifting and joyful … all we could hear from the tables around us was laughter … often because of an engaging waitress or someone delivering a cocktail (OMG … the best Negroni I’ve ever tasted). The soufflé was light and fluffy, and the crushed potatoes with garlic butter was wickedly moorish. The pick of the night was the gnocchi with truffle cream and mushrooms. Yum yum yum!!! BTW they have a huge selection of vegetarian/vegan meals. With work I travel a lot and get to experience restaurants through Australia – this is a great restaurant and we are fortunate to have a place of this quality on the Sunshine Coast.

Lovely restaurant, fantastic food and friendly staff. Every dish was delicious including the sides. The roast pumpkin and goats cheese salad was worthy of being a meal on its own. The prawn and scallops entrees were superb as were the oysters. Mains of gnocchi, steak, risotto and fish were utterly delicious. Plates were wiped clean. The desserts and cocktails were also done to perfection; so good they were started before a photo could be taken. Highly recommend you try this delightful restaurant. We will definitely be going back.

Good service and delicious food. Highlight was the twice baked soufflé! It’s so good best soufflé I’ve ever had! Gnocchi was tasty too, good flavours and so comforting. Enjoyed the duck pate but I found the toast was the wrong bread to serve with it. Flavour of pistachio and white chocolate parfait was nice, but probably should’ve been left out of the freezer for about 5 mins before serving as it was rock hard.

Why haven’t I been here earlier!! Fantastic food. Shared the duck pate, cheese soufflé for entree which were amazing. The reef fish on fennel risotto was outstanding (was a special, you need this on the regular menu!)and the beef fillet was delicious ( the mushrooms done in a salt and pepper crispy batter was sensational)
