The Inky Squid is a Fish & Chippery based in lush hills of Terranora, in the Tweed Valley hinterland. The newly-refurbished Pavilions Marketplace is home to The Inky Squid, where you can enjoy a meal or order takeaway for the family. We have a beautiful open air outdoor courtyard where you can sit to eat your lunch or dinner & enjoy a beverage. Kids & Families most welcome! Head Chef and local, Ben Jones (recently of Taverna, Kingscliff), brings you a vibrant and colourful menu, packed with flavour, fresh ingredients and a creative touch. Ben strives to source local produce and showcases his Chefing skills to give a new meaning to a ‘Fish & Chip shop’! We look forward to welcoming you soon!

This place isn’t just your average fish & chip shop & I’m very fortunate that this is my local. The owner is a seriously lovely guy & has great passion for food which is obvious when you taste the product. The chips are consistently excellent – possibly the best I’ve ever had. The burgers I’ve tried are also fantastic – probably the healthiest burgers that you’ll find anywhere…and there’s GF options too. I can highly recommend the vego burger – it’s a standout. The GF fried stuff is definitely worth a try too. Super impressed. I see a bright future ahead 🙂 Thanks. It’s always a pleasure.

The Inky Squid is situated in The Pavilions Market Place Henry Lawson Drive Terranora. It’s really popular but we’ve only been once on a Friday night. Tried a $10.00 Birthday Special – Battered Cod & French Fries.

Had the best burger and freshest fish and chips from here. Found it to be better than another well known fish n chip/seafood shop in the area. Will definitely be going back here and highly recommend it.

Thought we’d give this little fish and chip shop a go.. Was not disappointed.. Food was good and the servings are very generous.. Go for the larger servings if you’re really hungry..
