The Cook/Chef was so rude and abrupt. I asked if I can have avocado on toast with a few other extras and she said no. When I asked why she said “cause i don’t know what to charge you” and walked away back into the kitchen. No effort was made to accommodate me at all. I was so shocked at how rude and abrupt she was. The poor young girl at the counter seemed embarrassed at the cooks behaviour and attitude. This was obviously not the cooks business as she definitely did not care. I ended up ordering nothing but my husband had ordered eggs on toast and it was truly just 2 poached eggs on standard sliced bread that could be made at home. Presentation was poor and food was bland and tasteless. The business owner needs to be aware that this Cook is driving people away and is damaging their business. Now I know why they were dead quiet. Never going back and I suggest to anyone..if you want a nice brekky then avoid this place.

A great quiet place for a coffee and feed. Very friendly staff. They even had a dog bowl for us so my dog could have some water while we ate. Highly recommended.

The def chef has been our go to Cafe for breakfast when travelling through Dubbo. Since we first came the yummy orange yolks are gone (now pale yellow), no longer perfectly cooked, those beautiful little fried capers on the eggs are gone too. The coffee was fine but nothing to write home about as well. Service was friendly, I wish it was 5 star like before, def chef used to be so damn good!

The coffee was hot but very weak. It was a pity as we were looking forward to a good coffee

Nice place but charged a fortune for an alteration to an item on the menu. One egg, one small piece of bacon, one half tomato should not cost $18. * In response to your reply – I have a receipt, definitely your cafe. Will never go back and your reply is rude – in fact, a lot of your replies to customer reviews are rude.

Nice and warm inside, accommodating for dogs outside with tables outside too. Service is above expectations for a cafe. Caramel latte and Almond milk capachino were 5/5 and the food was so yum and value for money. Highly recommend if you have pets
