I have been here twice in the last 2 weeks. The food was great and our drinks arrived on time, staff on the whole were pleasant ( some more than others), today our waitress was absolutely lovely. I had the spring omelette both times and would recommend it. The cafe itself is showing its age but still a nice place to eat.

Waited more than 40mins for a toasted ham and cheese croissant that came warm outside and cold inside. Table next to me with 2 young kids left venue they lost their order. Told me their system broke down 20 mins earlier, which was 20 mins after I had ordered, and didn’t affect the two tables ordering after me. Offered compensation and a free coffee, but doesn’t take from poor service and food quality. Would suggest you go to Jamaica Blue, never had a problem there and food and coffee is way better.

Ordered my coffee and burger and sat down there staff made my order take away but didn’t say Anything and let me sit there waiting for 20 minutes by the time I worked out what had had happened I was too disappointed I walked out. Not good enough

Sat down and waited to be served. Didn’t happen, even when a waitress saw us, avoided my attempt to catch her attention and proceeded to clear the table beside us. The one inside Canelands is much better organised and courteous.

I waited in line to order cause I was ordering from the cabinet. Got there and the girl refused to serve me at the counter???? Told me to go sit down and someone would take my order there. Literally wouldn’t let me order, it was rather silly considering I not only waited in the line, but I was there. She wasn’t polite either and it wasn’t busy. Ended up walking away and going to Laffos Pizza across from it.
